Qualifications & Training
Dr Amitabha Majumdar completed his postgraduate training from Calcutta in India, after which he visited the United Kingdom to complete his Certificate of Training (CCT) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He achieved the certification with super-specialty level research, training and certification in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor reconstructive surgery. He is also experienced in advanced laparoscopic surgery.
His experience involves serving as the Specialty Lead in the University Hospital of South Manchester as well as Lead Urogynaecologist and Chief of Gynaecology at the Corniche Hospital where he put in his best and offered top level urogynaecology services focused on diagnosis, medical and surgical management of women experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction and incontinence, fibroid management bot medically and surgically, treatment of endometriosis, removal of ovarian cysts, general and high risk obstetrics.
